LIBRARY RULES
- Students should make it a matter of personal pride that the books they use are treated with utmost care and respect.
- No one may take any book from the library until it is permitted and entered in the Register.
- Only one book will be issued at a time, and for a 14 days at a time.
- All books must be returned within a fortnight. The borrower who fails to return the book within the given time will be charged a fine equal double the price of the book.
- A Student guilty of disobedience to the librarian or carelessness in handling of the books will be debarred from the use of library.

GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
Wherever individuals live together, discipline is necessary and this is equally important for an educational institutions. The discipline is always formative and not repressive. It leads the students to develop self-confidence which is the essence of a well ordered and successful life. Discipline is the backbone of every institution and nation.
Therefore Divine Will Public School requires that students must abide by certain regulations aimed at the growth of the entire School and more so of the individual students.
- Students should come to the School neatly dressed in proper school uniform on all school days. Untidy Students will not be allowed to sit in the class.
- No student is permitted to leave the School premises without the permission of the Principal.
- The School day starts with the Morning Assembly which is compulsory for all Students to attend.
- Students should arrive in the School, at least, Five minutes before the prayer Bell rings.
- All the students will keep the school free from Noise Pollution. Running, Playing, Shouting etc. are not allowed in or around the class rooms.
- Classes when moving from one place to another shall move in proper order/Lines under the control of Monitor/Teacher without making any noise.
- Keep School and class rooms neat and clean. No waste paper or material is to be thrown here and there. Make best use of the dustbin provided in each class.
- Students are not handed over without the consent of Guardian/Parents.
- Students are expected to show modesty and courtesy to their companions. They should use respectful, refined and polite language.
- Students should make frequent use of ‘Please’, ‘Thank you’, ‘Sorry’, ‘Excuse me', I beg your your pardon’ while wishing and conversing with the teachers, elders, companions and others.
- Exercise thoughtfulness, kindness and politeness to all students gathering at all occasions and show affable behaviour.
- Respect and regard for teachers are important values which are required to be upheld and maintained by the students at all times.
- Students are expected to respect their teachers. They should stand up and greet them when they enter or leave the class rooms.
- During recess, students are expected to leave the class rooms.
- It is compulsory that the students should converse in English with one another in the School.
- Proper care should be taken of School property and no student should scratch or spoil desks, walls, doors, chairs or damage any School furniture. They should not tear or damage the property belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported immediately to the principal office. No student should bring razor blades or any sharp instruments to the school.
- The students should behave in a refined manner where ever they go. They should always remember that the School is judged by their conduct.
- Cycles must be kept locked at the cycle-stand only. No vehicle should be driven in the School.
- Students must make it a habit to get the diary signed by the parents everyday.
- Parents/Guardians/Visitors are requested to wait in the waiting area and contact the Principal / School Office by sending a slip through a Peon/Aya for seeking any information or redressal of grievance, if any.
GUIDELINES FOR THE PARENTS
It is very important to groom children in such a way that they can stand on their own and become successful members of the society. We assure to put or best efforts at all times and request you to pay attention to the following points :
- Check the Diary daily and see if your ward has noted down the home assignment and other details.
- Check if any remarks have been given either by the Teacher or the Principal. Take action on the remarks immediately.
- Please ensure your ward has been provided with all necessary prescribed text books, stationery, atlas and geometry box etc.
- Please check your ward brings books, notebooks and other material to the School daily as per the Time Table only.
- Ensure that your wards attends the School regularly and in time.
- Ensure that your ward always wears proper School Uniforms as prescribed.
- Ensure that your ward always remains neat and tidy.
- Ensure basic minimum comforts to your ward to pursue his self-study at home such as table, chair and table lamp etc and above all proper environment for Study.
- Criticism of the teacher of the School in the presence of students should be scrupulously avoided as it causes the student to lose respect for the Teacher.
- Provide necessary guidance to your ward in doing his/her home work but don’t do any spoon feeding. Assist him/her in such a manner to make him self reliant.
- Encourage your ward to do self-help with regard to polishing shoes and washing handkerchief, socks, neck-tie etc. (Except the children who cannot do things on their own).
- Inculcate the habit of understanding the subject matter and avoid cramming.
- As the medium of instruction in the School is English, girls and boys should be encouraged to converse in English at home as well.
- Ensure that your ward completes his/her homework and prepares lessons daily.
- Keep a close liaison with the School Principal and class teachers to know the Progress of your ward from time to time.
- Encourage your ward to participate in various Co-Curricular and extra-Curricular activities of the School such as debates, recitation of poems and sports etc.
- Intimate any change of your residential address or telephone No. etc Immediately to the School.
- Pay all school dues and fees in time.
- Send application for leave, sick leave etc. in time.
- Send your responses to various letters and circulars issued by the school from time to time.
- Please attend ‘Parent-Teacher Meeting’ which are called at regular intervals.
- Entry of Parents to the class room is strictly prohibited.
- As per CBSE rules the date of birth and other particulars of the child once submitted will not be changed, please check the same properly.
- Kindly ensure that your child does not bring comics, periodicals, pictures, CDs, or any such material to the School which does not pertain to his/her academics.
- Electronics gadgets/mobile phones are not permitted, if found with the student, will be confiscated and disciplinary action will also be taken against the Student.
- All articles in your child’s possessions should be labelled with the child’s name and class.
- When parents come to school to drop their children, it is important for them to be dressed properly and not be in their night/casual clothes.
- Any suggestions for improvement of the School and students are welcome.
- Let the child be equipped with general awareness and independence in decision making right from the beginning.
